Art Classes, Workshops, and Private Lessons

Classes, limited to 8 students, beginners through advanced, include thorough instruction, demonstration, critique, and individual attention from Gwendolyn, a Rhode Island School of Design Master’s Degree artist and teacher with more than 40 years experience. B&B guests may participate in a class at the following rates:

Thursday Drawing Class: 2 pm to 4 pm
$35 for one 2-hr. session.

Friday Watercolor Class: 10 am to 1 pm
$45 for one 3-hr. session.

Saturday Figure/Portraiture Class: 9:30 am to 12 pm
$50 for one 2 1/2-hr.session, model’s fee inc.

Saturday Watercolor Class: 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm
$45 for one 3-hr. session.

Private Lessons may be scheduled Wednesday-Saturday
$45 an hour.

Occasionally non-art workshops are offered such as Creative Cuisine with NYC chef Edward Magel, and Herstory 9-Piece, a women’s retreat course which Gwendolyn has taught for 15 years.
