Please phone 570 421-0952 to make your reservation. Full payment for first night's stay by personal check or money order must be received at least 7 business days prior to your arrival. When rooms are available, walk-ins are accepted with full payment at check-in. We do not take credit cards.

House Rules

• Shawnee Falls Studio, Gallery &Guesthouse, including its grounds and parking areas, has a strict NON-SMOKING POLICY. Anyone ignoring this rule will be asked to leave immediately, lose his payment in full, and be fined $500. This historic house and painting studio cannot tolerate a fire! Nor are candles permitted in guests’ rooms.

• To preserve the peace of their home and the tranquility of other guests, the Caldwells reserve the right to dismiss, without refund, any person engaging in loud, rude, illegal, or disruptive behavior.

• Pets, Children, and Old House Stairs
While the Caldwells love both children and pets, they are unable to accommodate either, beyond their own. Shawnee Falls Guesthouse is home to Butterscotch, an affectionate Calico cat and two Bernese Mountain Dogs, Zermatt (the-dog-with-his-own-agenda who never met anyone he didn’t love) and Harley, our rescue Bernese. Gwendolyn says, “If you don’t like animals this isn’t the place for you! If you can take our menagerie, we heartily welcome you, as will our animals!” Also, please be warned that stone steps lead to the entry and curving historic “pie” stairs lead to all guest rooms; some may find the steps and stairs challenging--take care and use at your own risk. This historic home is unable to accommodate wheelchairs or anyone who has difficulty walking.

Check-in: between 3 and 6 PM. Please phone if unavoidably delayed. Check-out: 11AM.

Shawnee Falls Studio, Gallery & Guesthouse is open year round, except Christmas and Thanksgiving.
